Biography
Wang Yibo is a Chinese pop star and actor famous for his role in the boy band UNIQ. He took up dancing from an early age and, while in high school, he took part in the IBD dance contest. He placed in the top 16 of the hip-hop category and was picked up by Yuehua Entertainment.
In 2014 Wang made his official debut, joining the South Korean-Chinese boy band UNIQ and releasing the song 'Falling in Love'. The group kept up a steady stream of releases through 2015 as Wang began to take on acting roles, appearing in the films 'MBA Partners' and 'A Chinese Odyssey Part Three'. In 2017 Wang got his first lead acting role, starring in 'Private Shushan Gakuen'.
In 2018 Wang's visibility got a boost when he became a dance mentor in the reality talent show 'Produce 101', leading to starring roles in 'Gank Your Heart' and the xianxia drama 'The Untamed', as well as a duet with his co-star Xiao Zhan from the latter.
