Biography

Wake Owl, an indie pop band based in Vancouver, British Columbia and Portland, Oregon, was formed in 2011 by Colyn Cameron and Aiden Brant-Briscall. The band's debut EP Wild Country was released as a free internet download in 2012 and reissued on Vagrant Records in January 2013. Their breakthrough came when "Gold" was featured in an episode of Grey's Anatomy. The band received a Juno Award nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2014. Their debut full-length album, The Private World of Paradise, was released on March 4, 2014. The band's second full-length album, Kaleidoscopes, was released on July 20, 2017.
