Vomit Launch was an American indie rock group formed in Chico, California in 1985. The band initially started as a casual gathering for drinking beer and included members Steve Bragg on drums, Larry Crane on bass/guitar/vocals, Patricia de Rowland on vocals, and Lindsey Thrasher on guitar/vocals. Their first release was the cassette Fishbutt in 1985, followed by their debut EP Not Even Pretty in 1987. The band released several albums, including Exiled Sandwich (1988), Mr. Spench (1990), and Dogeared (1992). Notable singles include "Of" (1990) and "Boltcutters & Beer" (1991). Vomit Launch disbanded on December 11, 1992, after playing their final show. Their music has been featured in various compilations and soundtracks, including the film The Wackness (2008), which included "Exit Lines" from Exiled Sandwich.
