Biography

Vltimas is a Portuguese death metal group formed in 2015. The band was initiated when guitarist Rune "Blasphemer" Eriksen presented some riffs to drummer Flo Mounier, leading to the formation of Vltimas. The lineup was completed by vocalist David Vincent, who had recently left Morbid Angel. The trio recorded their debut album Something Wicked Marches In at The Noiz Faktory in Texas and Orgone Studios in England, with Eriksen handling bass duties. Released in March 2019, via Season of Mist, the album showcased a blend of Scandinavian riffing and brutal death metal elements. Vltimas performed at notable festivals including Copenhell, Hellfest, Mystic Festival, Tons of Rock, and Wacken Open Air in 2019. They embarked on a European tour with Abbath and 1349 in early 2020.
