Loona (stylized in all caps or as LOOÎ Î; Korean: ì´ë¬ì ìë
; RR: Idarui Sonyeo; Japanese: ä»æã®å°å¥³, romanized: Kongetsu no ShÅjo, lit.â'Girl of the Month') is a South Korean eleven-member girl group formed by Blockberry Creative. Originally a twelve-member group, they were introduced to the public through a pre-debut project that began in October 2016, where each of the members was revealed in a periodic fashion by releasing a promotional single over the following 18 months. They debuted as a full ensemble with the extended play, [+ +] (2018), supported by the lead single "Favorite" and the title track "Hi High". On November 25, 2022, Chuu was removed from the lineup.
