LOONA yyxy (short for "Youth youth by young") is a South Korean K-pop sub-unit formed in Seoul as the final group within the Girl of the Month pre-debut project. The quartet featured members Yves, Chuu, Go Won, and Hyeju, who then performed under the stage name Olivia Hye. They debuted on May 30, 2018, with the extended play Beauty & the Beat, which reached number 4 on the Gaon Album Chart and number 6 on the Billboard World Albums chart. Its lead single, âlove4evaâ, featured a collaboration with Canadian artist Grimes. In November 2022, Blockberry Creative removed Chuu from the group. By mid-2023, the remaining members successfully terminated their contracts with the agency. Yves subsequently signed with PAIX PER MIL, while Chuu joined ATRP. Go Won and Hyeju resumed their careers in the group Loossemble. LOONA yyxy became inactive in 2023.
