Biography
Vindata is an American electronic musical duo from Los Angeles that formed in 2010. The project consists of the producer and DJ Branden Ratcliff and originally included the musician Jared Poythress. They achieved early professional momentum with their debut EP, For One to Follow (2014), which featured the single âAll I Really Needâ. In 2015, they signed with the label Owsla and released their second EP, Through Time and Space..., featuring collaborations with artists such as Anderson .Paak. The group is famous for a musical style blending R&B, hip hop, and future bass and was featured on the Rolling Stone 2017 list of 10 New Artists You Need to Know Now. Their discography includes the single âFavorâ (2017), featuring Skrillex, and their debut studio album, With Opened Eyes (2021). In November 2021, Poythress left the ensemble, and Ratcliff resumed activity as a solo artist under the same name.
