Vierkanttretlager is a German rock group founded in 2007 in Husum, with members Max Richard LeÃmann, Jens Mehring, and a third founding member. The band first emerged with the EP Penzion Kanonir in 2010, followed by the single "Fotoalbum" in 2012, and the debut album Die Natur greift an the same year, both produced by Gregor Hennig. In 2012 the group represented Schleswig-Holstein in the Bundesvision Song Contest, securing sixth place. After lineup changes in 2012, the remaining trio released the second album Krieg & Krieg in April 2015, produced by Olaf Opal, and performed at festivals and as a support act for acts such as Casper, Kraftklub, and Madsen. In July 2017, Max Richard LeÃmann released his solo album Liebe in den Zeiten der Follower, noting that it did not signal the band's dissolution. No further releases or disbandment announcements have been documented.
