Biography

Venues, a post-hardcore band from Stuttgart, Germany, was formed in 2015 under the name Break Down a Venue. Their first release, the EP Break Down a Venue, came out in July 2015. In February 2017, the band changed their name to Venues and began performing with notable acts such as Unleash the Sky and Breathe Atlantis. They signed with Arising Empire in April 2018 and released their debut album Aspire that July, which was named Album of the Week by Kerrang!. In January 2019, vocalist Nyves left the band, leading to the cancellation of upcoming tours. Daniela 'Lela' Gruber joined as a full-time member in April 2019. The band's subsequent releases included the albums Solace (2021) and Transience (2024), and notable singles such as "Rite of Passage" (2021) and "Godspeed Goodbye" (2024).
