Biography

Veliki Prezir, a Serbian alternative rock band from Vrbas, was formed in June 1994 by Vladimir KolariÄ "Kole" (vocals, guitar) and originally included Slavko Kontra (guitar), Predrag IlÄeÅ¡in (bass guitar) and DuÅ¡an KuzmanoviÄ (drums). The band's name was inspired by the Jean-Luc Godard film Le MÃ©pris. Their debut album, Veliki prezir, was released in 1996 by Metropolis Records. In 1997, they recorded and released their live album 1, 2, 3, 4. The band's second studio album, Brazde, followed in March 2001 under B92. In 2005, Veliki Prezir released their third studio album, Ruka bez povratka, produced by Boris MladenoviÄ. Their fourth studio album, Nikadjekraj, was released in 2009 by B92, featuring collaborations with Ken Stringfellow.
