Biography
Vassilikos Sakkas, known professionally as Vassilikos, is a Greek singer and musician. He began his career as the frontman of the indie/pop-rock band Raining Pleasure, releasing seven albums between 1996 and 2009. Two of these albums under Minos EMI achieved gold sales. In 2009, Vassilikos started a solo career with Sony Music Greece, releasing his debut album Vintage (Songs I Wish I'd Written Vol.1), which was certified gold. He collaborated with Dimitra Galani for a live tour and subsequent album Live at Gazarte in 2011. Vassilikos also performed concerts featuring the works of notable Greek composers such as Vassilis Tsitsanis. His solo EP Sunday Cloudy Sunday, released in 2013, was performed live at the Little Theatre of Ancient Epidaurus.
