Valerie's Garten is a German girl group formed in 1991, known for their contributions to Schlager music. The trio consisted of Michaela Ahlrichs, Doris Gellhaus, and Stefanie Lügger. Valerie's Garten gained initial recognition with the release of their single âNächstes Mal am Ende der Weltâ in 1992, written by Achim Oppermann. This song marked a significant breakthrough for the group, leading to appearances on television shows. The group released several albums and singles during their active years. Their debut album Valerie's Garten was released in 1992, followed by Irgendwo Irgendwann in 1993. Notable songs from this period include âWenn Du Willstâ and âErdbeer'n Zum Kaffeeâ. In 1993, they released the single âPiraten der Liebeâ, which was included in the album Irgendwo Irgendwann. The group's final release was the compilation album Sanfte Gefühle in 1995. Despite their initial success, Valerie's Garten disbanded later that year due to declining commercial interest. After the group's disbandment, Michaela Ahlrichs pursued a solo career under the name Ela and participated in the German selection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1997. Doris Gellhaus and Stefanie Lügger formed the duo The Geenies, releasing pop songs in English. Stefanie Lügger also collaborated with Ralf Bieler under the name Lillid, producing songs in German.
