Biography

The Stereo, a pop-rock and roll band, was formed in early 1999 by former ska-punk frontmen Jamie Woolford and Rory Phillips. They released their debut album Three Hundred under Fueled By Ramen that same year. The band experienced several lineup changes but maintained Woolford as a consistent member who composed all subsequent releases. Their discography included the EP New Tokyo is Calling (2000) and the albums No Traffic (2001) and Rewind + Record (2002). In 2004, The Stereo disbanded. Despite disbanding, Three Hundred was recognized by Alternative Press in 2009 as one of the 10 most influential albums from 1999 that shaped Punk today. The band briefly reunited in 2011 and again in 2017 for a festival. In 2022, they launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their new album Thirteen (2022).
