Utangarðsmenn, an Icelandic punk band active from 1980 to 1981, was composed of Bubbi Morthens, Mick Pollock, Danny Pollock, Magnús Stefánsson, and Rúnar Erlingsson. The group quickly gained traction in the early 1980s, becoming one of Iceland's most popular bands during that period. Their debut album, Geislavirkir, was released in 1980, followed by the mini-album The Outsiders in 1981 and a mini-album titled 45RPM. The band also contributed to the compilation à Upphafi Skyldi Endinn Skoða in 1981. Utangarðsmenn disbanded shortly after their active years but had a brief comeback in 2000 with the release of the compilation album Fuglinn er floginn.
