Biography

Ugly Casanova is an American indie rock ensemble formed in Issaquah, Washington. Frontman Isaac Brock created the persona Edgar E. Graham, also called Ugly Casanova, to provide an alternative narrative for the group and avoid interviews. The band released its debut studio album, Sharpen Your Teeth, in 2002 through Sub Pop Records. The recording featured Tyler Reilly, Tim Rutili, Pall Jenkins, John Orth, and Brian Deck. The album included the tracks “Hotcha Girls” and “Diamonds on the Face of Evil”. In 2010, the group contributed eight songs to the soundtrack for the documentary 180° South: Conquerors of the Useless. This recording session included Eric Judy, Tom Peloso, Joe Plummer, and Clay Jones. In 2025, the ensemble was included in the lineup for a 2026 cruise event.
