Lee Ok-joo, born January 15, 1986, and known by her stage name Tymee (formerly E.via and Napper), is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and pianist. She is widely recognized for her rapid-fire rapping, earning her the title of Korea's fastest female rapper. Tymee debuted in 2009 under the stage name E.via with her EP E.via a.k.a. Happy Evil. The album garnered significant attention, especially for the controversial track "Oppa! na Haedodwae?" which was banned from television performances due to its suggestive lyrics. Despite the ban, the song achieved notable success on online platforms. Tymee faced further controversy in 2013 when she left her label, Dline Art Media, due to financial disputes and creative differences. Following this, she changed her stage name from E.via to Tymee and continued her career independently. She revealed her struggles with inadequate compensation and creative control during her time with the label, drawing comparisons to similar issues faced by other artists in the industry. Throughout her career, Tymee has released several albums, including Must Have Mini Album (2010) and Viapolar (2010), showcasing her versatility in both rapping and songwriting. She is currently signed to ASSA Communication, under Outsider's label.
