Jang Ye-eun, better known as Yeeun, is a South Korean singer, rapper, model, and dancer. She was born on August 10, 1998, in Dongducheon, Gyeonggi. After completing her schooling at Dongbo Elementary School and Dongducheon Girls' Middle School, she entered the entertainment industry in 2014 as a backing dancer. She appeared in music videos for artists like G.NA. She made her formal debut in the South Korean girl group CLC as the main rapper, featuring on their debut single "Pepe" from their first EP First Love (2015). Yeeun also forayed into TV presenting, serving as a co-host on SBS MTV's The Show from May 2018 to November 2019, making her part of its longest-running pair of hosts. She and her fellow CLC member, Oh Seung-hee, contributed to the original soundtrack for the drama My Fellow Citizens! with the song "Really Bad Guy" in 2019. The following year, Yeeun joined the cast of Mnet's music competition show Good Girl, where she performed songs like "Barbie" and "Mermaid." In June 2021, she made her acting debut in a short film anthology series titled Tastes of Horror. Yeeun left Cube Entertainment in March 2022 and signed an exclusive contract with SuperBell Company as a solo artist. She featured on singles like "Nirvana Girl" by Sorn and "Come Back Home" by oceanfromtheblue. Her solo debut album The Beginning was released in 2023, featuring the title track "Cherry Coke."
