Biography

Turmion Kätilöt, a Finnish industrial metal band from Kuopio, was formed in 2003 by MC Raaka Pee and DJ Vastapallo. Their fusion of metal and electro caught the attention of Ranka Records, leading to their debut album Hoitovirhe in 2004, which reached number 28 on the Finnish charts. The album included singles "Teurastaja" and "Verta ja lihaa," peaking at number 5 and number 12 respectively. In 2006, they released Niuva 20, an EP featuring a cover of Deep Purple's "Stormbringer." Following their departure from Ranka Records in 2009, Turmion Kätilöt continued with albums like Perstechnique (2011) and Diskovibrator (2015).
