Biography

TURBOBIER, an Austrian punk/rock band formed in 2014, gained initial traction with their music video "I hob an Koda" (2014) and the song "Arbeitslos durch den Tag" (2014), a parody of Helene Fischer's "Atemlos durch die Nacht". The band's debut album Irokesentango was released in June 2015 under Warner Music Europe. Their second album, Das Neue Festament (2017), debuted at Number 1 on the Austrian charts in January 2017. The band's third studio album, King of Simmering, was released in March 2019. They notably won the Amadeus Austrian Music Award for Hard & Heavy in 2016 and again in 2022. TURBOBIER has also performed at major festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Nova Rock, and embarked on international tours in Japan and China.
