Biography
Tulaviok, a French punk rock group from Uzès, Gard, was formed in 1984 by Mimi Gourdin on guitar and Pascal Lelievre on drums. The band initially performed under the name Tue la Viock before changing to Tulaviok after a lineup change. Their debut album, Dèche à la Ch'touille, released in 1987, gained notoriety for its explicit content and controversial packaging. The group's second album, Q Sec, was released in 1988. Tulaviok disbanded in July 1989 after approximately 200 concerts across France. Gourdin passed away on March 3, 2012. The albums Dèche à la Ch'touille and Q Sec were reissued by Dirty Punk Records in 2009 and 2019.
