Tse Tse Fly was an alternative rock group from Leeds, England, formed in 1988 by Paul Dorrington, Jayne Lockey, and Simon Cleave. The band's first release was the EP Duckweed Smuggled Home in 1992, by which time Dorrington had left to join The Wedding Present. Following this, Mark Goodrham and Ian McCrimmon joined the lineup. In 1993, they released the EP Fox Under Diesel, and later signed with Cherry Red Records, who issued their only album during their active years, Mudflat Joey, in 1994. After the album's release, Lockey and Cleave also joined The Wedding Present, effectively disbanding Tse Tse Fly. In 2001, a self-titled second album combining their first two EPs and additional tracks was released posthumously on Pehr Records.
