trudy, whose full name is Trudy Simoneau, is a singer-songwriter from Montreal, also known for her appearances on reality TV shows. She came to prominence in 2015 when she took part in The Voice in France, where she reached the semi-finals under the guidance of her coach Florent Pagny. In 2019, she won Occupation Double South Africa, reinforcing her reputation in Quebec. In February 2023, she presents her first French-language single, " Go Solo ". In April 2023, Trudy launched her debut album of the same name. In August of the same year, she released her second French-language song, " Flash Fire ". In 2024, she is a finalist in SiriusXM's Top of the Country contest, which promotes new talent in Canadian country music.
