Biography

Triple Fast Action, an alternative rock band from Chicago, was formed in 1995 by Wes Kidd and Brian St. Clair, both former members of Rights of the Accused. The group's initial release, Broadcaster, was described as "Cheap Trick meets Nirvana" and featured a power-pop sound with two-toned guitar crunch and a powerful backbeat. Despite extensive touring in the U.S., the album sold poorly due to limited label support. Triple Fast Action supported notable acts such as Everclear, Lenny Kravitz, The Wallflowers, and Veruca Salt. In 1997, they released their critically acclaimed second album Cattlemen Don't under Deep Elm Records, with the single "Heroes" receiving college radio airplay. The band disbanded in May 1998 following a farewell concert at Chicago's Metro. Notable fans included Dave Grohl, who cited Triple Fast Action as an influence.
