Triosence, a German jazz group formed in 1999, consists of Bernhard Schüler on piano, Matthias Akeo Nowak on double bass, and Stephan Emig on drums. The trio gained early recognition by winning several music competitions, including the Kassel City Culture Prize and the German federal competition, Jugend Jazzt. In 2002, they released their debut album First Enchantment under Mons Records after securing a deal with Deutschlandfunk. Their subsequent albums include When You Come Home (2008), Turning Points (2013), and Scorpio Rising (2019). Triosence has performed extensively across Germany and occasionally internationally, including appearances at the Al Bustan festival in Lebanon (2011), Taiwan (2014), Brazil (2016), and France (2016).
