Biography

Trent Summar & the New Row Mob is an American country music group from Tennessee, formed in 2000. The band's original lineup included Trent Summar on lead vocals, Kenny Vaughan and Philip Wallace on guitar, Jared Reynolds on bass guitar and vocals, Dave Kennedy on drums, and Jerry Dale McFadden on piano. Both Summar and Wallace had previously been part of Hank Flamingo, while Vaughan was a member of McBride & the Ride. The group released their self-titled debut album in 2000 on VFR Records, featuring the single "It Never Rains in Southern California", a cover of Albert Hammond's hit. In 2006, they issued Horseshoes & Hand Grenades on Palo Duro Records. Trent Summar has also contributed as a songwriter for other artists, including Billy Currington and Gary Allan.
