Biography

Trem da Alegria was a Brazilian childrenâs music group formed in 1984 in SÃ£o Paulo from the TV show Clube da CrianÃ§a on Rede Manchete. Its best-known lineup featured Luciano Nassyn, PatrÃcia Marx, and Juninho Bill. Their debut album, Trem da Alegria do Clube da CrianÃ§a (1985), included "Carrossel de EsperanÃ§a" and "Ã de Chocolate". The groupâs commercial peak came with Trem da Alegria (1986), featuring "He-Man" and "Fera NenÃ©m". Later members included Vanessa and Rubinho. The group remained popular through the late 1980s and disbanded in the early 1990s after selling millions of records.
