Biography

Trash Money, an English rock band formed in 1998 by former Sneaker Pimps members Joe Wilson and Chris Tate, also features live performances from Dave Westlake (formerly of Sneaker Pimps), Molly Dolittle Slade (formerly of Little Killers), and Cary Creed. The band diverged completely from their trip-hop ancestry, embracing punk, irony, and musical experimentation. Their first release, “You Lied Satan,” was chosen by NME as its “single of the week,” as was “Million Pound Note.” In 2006, Trash Money released their self-titled eleven-track debut album, which compiled all previous self-financed limited-edition singles.
