Trap Them, an American hardcore punk band from Seattle, Washington, was founded in 2001 by Ryan McKenney and Brian Vincent Izzi. The duo initially recorded a self-released EP with a drum computer before disbanding briefly to focus on other projects. In 2007, Trap Them released their debut album Sleepwell Deconstructor, produced by Kurt Ballou of Converge at Godcity Studios. The band then moved to Deathwish Inc., releasing the EP Seance Prime in 2007 and their second album Seizures in Barren Praise in 2008. They toured extensively with bands like Extreme Noise Terror, Rotten Sound, and Converge. Trap Them released several albums including Darker Handcraft (2011) and Blissfucker (2014), both produced by Ballou. Their final album, Crown Feral, was released in 2016 before the band disbanded in 2017.
