Biography
Trailer Trash Tracys is an English experimental rock and dream pop band formed in London in 2009. The group was founded by songwriters Susanne Aztoria and Jimmy Lee, who were later joined by bassist Adam Jaffrey and drummer Dayo James. The band released their debut single, âYou Wish You Were Redâ, on October 31, 2011, which later appeared in the television series The Killing and Riverdale. Their first studio album, Ester, was released through Domino Records on January 9, 2012, receiving critical praise for its shoegazing elements and Aztoria's vocals. The ensemble has toured internationally with acts including The xx, The Vaccines, and The Kills, performing at festivals such as South by Southwest and the Hinterland Festival. Trailer Trash Tracys released their second studio album, Althaea, on August 11, 2017, which earned generally positive reviews for its continued exploration of atmospheric indie rock and dream pop.
