Biography

Totally Unicorn, an Australian metalcore band from Wollongong, New South Wales, formed in 2010 following the split of Hospital the Musical. Their debut EP Horse Hugger was released in the same year. The band gained attention for their chaotic and unpredictable live shows, which often feature partial or complete nudity, stage-diving, and close audience interaction. They have supported high-profile acts such as Kvelertak, La Dispute, The Chariot, Frenzal Rhomb, Rosetta, Cancer Bats, and Tonight Alive. In 2016, they released their debut album Dream Life, followed by Sorry in 2019. Notable singles include "Old Cute & Purified" and "Customer Service Station." The band’s activity was temporarily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, but they continued to release new music and adapt their live performances through socially-distanced shows and online streaming. In 2022, they released their third album, High Spirits//Low Life.
