Biography

Tonton Pal, whose real name is Daouda Keïta, is a Malian singer and rapper. Together with his wife, Binguini Bakhaga, they form a duo both in real life and on stage, performing songs together such as “I Kelen,” “Reaktor” or “Mot de passe” in 2022, followed by other tracks. Having emerged on the music scene in the mid-2010s, Tonton Pal combines the Malian tradition of Mandinka music with modern influences such as Afrobeats. After releasing his debut single, “Mida Yidima” (2017), he gained prominence on music platforms with songs sung in the Fulani dialect or in French, such as “Mon enfant vol. 1” and “Devenir membre”. His videos are also very popular, and his music videos regularly rank among the most-viewed in the charts. Among his hits are the tracks “Yèlè aw la” (2023), “Couronne” (2025), “Sans tapage” and “Homme capable” (2026).
