Biography
Tonight Alive, an Australian rock band from Sydney, was formed in 2008. The initial lineup included guitarist Jake Hardy, bassist Cameron Adler, and keyboardist/lead guitarist Whakaio Taahi, who were later joined by lead vocalist Jenna McDougall and drummer Matty Best. The band's early releases included the EPs All Shapes & Disguises (2010) and Consider This (2010). In 2011, Tonight Alive signed with Fearless Records and Sony Music Entertainment Australia, releasing their debut album What Are You So Scared Of? which was re-released in the US in 2012. The band's second studio album, The Other Side (2013), debuted at number 5 on the ARIA Albums Chart. In 2016, they released their third album, Limitless. Lead guitarist Whakaio Taahi departed the group in late 2017, shortly after the band finished recording Underworld (2018).
