Tomomi Kasai, born November 16, 1991, in Fuchu, Tokyo, is a Japanese talent, singer, and actress. She started her career in entertainment by joining AKB48 in 2006 after auditioning through a friend's recommendation. Kasai became well-known after her participation in AKB48 and her eventual transfer to Horipro for more extensive individual activities. During her time with AKB48, Kasai achieved notable rankings in the group's annual general elections, consistently securing a spot in the media senbatsu, which highlights her popularity.
