Biography

Although he hails from Chicago (Illinois), Tino Gonzales plays a Latin blues that smells of sunshine. This emulator of Carlos Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughan has flourished in Europe, where his formula has met with undeniable success. Since 1997's A Heart Full of Blues , Tino Gonzales has been sharing his love of funk, blues, enchiladas and tequila con gusano with a captive audience. With Nuke the World in 2003, Tino Gonzales shares his political and ecological considerations. In 2006, Latin Gypsy brought a touch of flamenco to his blues, while in 2008, A World of Blues had the whole planet on parade. Funky Tortillas in 2010 brings the flavors of Mexico back to Tino Gonzales' blues funk.
