Tessa Rose Jackson, born 22â¯Augustâ¯1992 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and keyboardist whose folkâoriented work reflects her multicultural upbringing. After studying piano at the Junior Jazz College and a year at the BRIT School, she released her debut album Songs from The Sandbox in 2013 under the pseudonym Someone, followed by the single "Change Time" used in an IKEA commercial. Her first fullâlength release as Tessa Rose Jackson, Shapeshifter, arrived on 10â¯Septemberâ¯2021, featuring a cover of Bob Dylanâs "Blowin' in the Wind". Subsequent albums Owls (2023) and The Lighthouse (2026) expanded her catalog, while the 2024 single "Illusion" added to her growing discography. Tessa Rose Jackson has composed music for films such as My Father Is a Plane and the video game Life Is Strange, and her work has been featured by Audi, Google Nexus, HBO Max and Netflix.
