Tina Britt is an American soul and R&B singer who began her musical career performing in church during her youth. In 1965, she signed with Eastern Records under the guidance of producer Henry "Juggy" Murray and released her debut single, "The Real Thing," which reached the top 20 on the R&B charts. Her recording output continued in 1968 with the singles "Who Was That?" which peaked at number 39 on the R&B charts, and a cover of Don Covay's "Sookie Sookie."
