The Tielman Brothers, a Dutch-Indonesian rock-and-roll band, were active between 1947 and 1976 and included brothers Andy (vocals, guitar), Reggy (guitar), Ponthon (bass), and Loulou Tielman (drums). Originating from Kupang, Indonesia, they began their musical journey under the name The Timor Rhythm Brothers. The band gained international attention after performing at the Brussels World Expo in 1958, leading to performances in Germany. They later signed with Fernap Records for their debut single, "Rock Little Baby of Mine", which is considered the first Dutch rock 'n' roll single. In the 1960s, they achieved significant success in Germany and other European countries, releasing notable songs like "Little Bird", which reached number 7 on the Dutch charts. The band's lineup changed frequently after a car accident involving Andy and Reggy in 1964. They disbanded in 1983 but reunited for a concert in 1990.
