thomascook is the solo stage name of South Korean musician Jeong Soonyong (ì ìì©), born on November 30, 1976 in Seoul, South Korea. Best known as the guitarist and vocalist of the indie rock band My Aunt Mary, he has also been active in projects such as kejj and Bird Alliance alongside Kim Jae-min (Kimfunny). Since debuting as a solo artist in 1999, thomascook has built a career rooted in indie rock and modern rock, recognized for his emotional songwriting and understated vocal style. His solo discography includes the albums Time Table (2000), Journey (2011), and THOMAS COOK (2016), as well as singles such as "Donât Go Away Like That" (2019) and "room-room project" (2020). In 2026, he released the EP INDIE30.
