Biography
Hailing from Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, UK band Thieves of Liberty comprises James Boak (vocals), Kieran Wilson and Liam Lindsey (guitars), Pete Kimmond (bass) and Tom Bushby (drums). The quintet established their reputation on the live circuit, playing to ever-growing audiences. Inspired by 1980s hard rock bands such as Bon Jovi, Van Halen and Mr. Big, Thieves of Liberty had only recorded a five-track EP, Back Again (2022), when they appeared at renowned festivals such as Firevolt & Wildfire, or opened for headliners The Darkness, Skid Row and Wayward Sons. Finally, after a new salvo of singles throughout 2024, the Caviar & Diamonds EP and the Shangri-La album were released, the materialized version of which reached number 51 in the UK vinyl and CD charts.
