Biography

American hard-rock and heavy metal singer and guitarist Myles Richard Bass, alias Myles Kennedy, was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 27, 1969. He made his debut in 1990 with jazz fusion band Cosmic Dust, then joined blues-rock outfit Citizen Gang three years later. From 1996 to 2002, he gained further notoriety as a member of The Mayfield Four. Hired by Alter Bridge in 2003, Myles Kennedy and his band The Conspirators also teamed up with Guns 'N Roses guitarist Slash on Apocalyptic Love (2012) and World on Fire (2014). In 2013 and 2015, he took part in the King of Chaos supergroup tours with Glenn Hughes, Duff McKagan and Sammy Hagar, before embarking on a solo career in 2018. He released his debut album, Year of the Tiger, while taking time out to record again with Slash for the Living the Dream album. Three years later, he released The Ides of March solo. The singer and his band team up again with Slash on album 4, released in 2022 (#93 in the U.S. and #5 in the U.K. in 2022). In 2024, he continued his solo career with The Art of Letting Go, which reached #2 on the UK independent album chart and the US rock and metal charts.
