Biography
The 50-Kaiten-zu is a three-piece band formed in 2004 in Tondabayashi City, Osaka Prefecture, which made its major-label debut in 2006 with the album â50-Kaiten-zuâs Gyaa!!â (2006). Featuring a raw and energetic sound rooted in garage rock, rock ânâ roll, and punk rock, the band consists of three members: Danny (guitar, vocals), Dolly (bass, vocals), and Bogey (drums, vocals). Their representative works include the albums â50-Kaiten-zuâs Gyaa!!â (2006), â50-Kaiten-zuâs Biribiri!!â (2007), and âRock ânâ Roll Love Letterâ (2012), as well as the song âMONEY! MONEY!â (2007), âGeGeGe no Kitaroâ (2008), and âRock ânâ Roll Magicâ (2010). Having performed at festivals such as FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL and SUMMER SONIC, as well as holding overseas concerts, they have earned high acclaim as a leading band in Japanâs garage rock scene. Their latest release is the single âUnder the Night Sky After the Rainâ (2026), a cover of a classic song by RC Succession.
