Biography
The Yawpers, a rock band from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2011. The group consists of Nate Cook on lead vocals and guitar, Jesse Parmet on slide guitar and harmonies, and Alex Koshak on drums. Before forming The Yawpers, Cook and Parmet played together in the band Ego vs. Id. Their early releases included Savage Blue (2011) and Capon Crusade (2012). In 2013, they self-released a covers album titled Good Songs/Shitty Versions. The Yawpers gained significant attention after performing at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas. This led to their signing with Bloodshot Records and the release of their debut album under the label, American Man, on October 30, 2015. Their subsequent albums include Boy in a Well (2017) and Human Question (2019). The Yawpers have toured extensively with notable acts such as Delta Spirit, Lucero, and Nashville Pussy.
