Biography
The Waking Eyes were a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg and Steinbach, Manitoba formed after the breakup of The Pets and Novillero. The band released their debut album Combing the Clouds in 2002, followed by their second album, Video Sound (2004), which won a Western Canada Music Award in 2005. The band toured extensively across North America and Europe. In 2008, they released Holding On to Whatever It Is, which also won a Western Canada Music Award for Best Independent Album. The Waking Eyes went on hiatus in July 2010.
