The Upper Crust, a hard rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1995. The group originated from a surf rock band called The Clamdiggers. Adopting personae of 18th-century aristocratic fops, the members used titles of nobility and wore powdered wigs and period costumes during performances. Their music influences included Bon Scott-era AC/DC, glam rock band Kiss, and heavy metal band Spinal Tap. The Upper Crust released their debut album Let Them Eat Rock in 1995, followed by The Decline & Fall of the Upper Crust in 1997. They appeared on television shows such as Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Albums include Entitled (2000), Once More Into the Breeches (2001), Cream of the Crust (2006), Revenge for Imagined Slights (2009), and Delusions of Grandeur (2017).
