The Tips (also stylized as The TiPS) are a German reggae, punk rock, and soul band from Düsseldorf, formed in 2008. Founded by Aljoscha Thaleikis and Christian Heilwagen, the trio included the drummer Janosch Holland. Following the debut EP The Tips EP (2010), the group released the studio album High Sobriety in 2011, subsequently signing with Soulfire Artists. In 2013, they issued Trippin', produced by Guido Lucas, which reached Number 1 on the Amazon MP3 reggae charts. The trio released the album Twists'n'Turns in 2016 and the EP Come Closer in 2018 before becoming inactive in May 2019. The Tips resumed activity in December 2021 with Thaleikis, Holland, and the new bassist Lucas Mylord, completing a return tour in 2022. Their musical style blends reggae, ska, punk rock, and soul.
