The Time Jumpers, a Western swing band, was formed in 1998 by Nashville studio musicians who enjoyed jamming together. The group initially played occasional local gigs before securing a regular slot at Nashville's Station Inn. They later moved to the larger venue at the 3rd & Lindsley. Notable guest artists on their weekly live show included Joe Walsh, Robert Plant, and Norah Jones. The Time Jumpers released their debut album Jumpin' Time in 2007, followed by The Time Jumpers in 2012 and Kid Sister in 2016. In 2017, they won the Grammy Award for Best American Roots Song for Vince Gill's composition "Kid Sister". The band has featured a rotating lineup of musicians, including Brad Albin, Michael Blaustone, and Larry Franklin.
