Biography
The Thermals, an American indie rock band based in Portland, Oregon, was formed in 2002 by Hutch Harris and Kathy Foster. The band featured loâfi and standard rock influences. Their breakthrough came with the No Culture Icons EP (2003), followed by the album More Parts Per Million (2003) and the album Fuckin A (2004). Subsequent releases include "A Pillar Of Salt" (2007), Personal Life (2010), and Desperate Ground (2013), and "Born To Kill" (2013). The band announced their disbandment in April 2018 after 16 years but returned in 2025 as a solo act by Harris.
