Biography
The Tah-dahs, a Dallas-based indie rock band, were formed in 2001 by Roy Ivy and James Porter. The original lineup included Chris Fowler on rhythm and Wurlitzer, Michael Bryant on guitar, and Rebecca Kraemer on viola. In 2005, the band released their debut album Le Fun under Dallas's indie label Undeniable Records. This marked a significant milestone in their career, showcasing their aggressive style of pop music. Later that year, the Tah-dahs began working with producer Stuart Sikes, known for his work with Modest Mouse and Cat Power, on their follow-up album Mein So Called Kampf (2006).
