Biography
The Sonic Dawn, a psychedelic rock band from Copenhagen, Denmark, was formed in 2013 by Emil Bureau, Jonas Waaben, and Niels Fuglede. Initially known as The Mind Flowers, they changed their name due to legal issues. Their debut performance on 9 January 2014 led to a signing with Levitation Records and the release of the single "Down the Line" in May 2014. The band's first full-length album, Perception, was released by Nasoni Records on 31 October 2015. In April 2017, they released their second album, Into the Long Night, which included the single "l'Espion," reaching Number 1 for two weeks on DR P3's Barometerlisten chart in Denmark. The Sonic Dawn has toured extensively across Europe, performing with notable acts such as Graveyard and Brant Bjork. Their third album, Eclipse, was released in February 2019 on Heavy Psych Sounds and received critical acclaim.
