The Snivelling Shits is a British punk rock band formed in London in 1977, centered around Giovanni Dadomo. Their initial breakthrough came with the release of their novelty punk single "Terminal Stupid/I Can't Come" in 1977. The latter track was described as an iconoclastic mantra of amphetamine-induced sexual dysfunction. By 1979, The Snivelling Shits had rebranded as The Hits and were active on the London club scene. In 1989, previously unreleased material was compiled into the album I Can't Come, released by Damaged Goods Records. Dadomo also co-wrote songs with The Damned, including "I Just Can't Be Happy Today" and "There Ain't No Sanity Clause". Dadomo died in 1997.
